Pale yellow cloudiness hue, with an off-white head, yeasty citrusy note, with a nice spicy coriander accent, and a juicy lemony aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with zesty citrusy mildy acidic character, with a candied orange peel fruitiness, spicy coriander, and hint of liquorice spiciness, wheaty malt note, leading towards a juicy lemony, and faint lactic finish.

Jan 29, 2010 Bottle. Pours a murky yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma of tart citrus, a bit of orange, light wheat malt, light barnyard. Flavor of light wheat malt, some tartness, lemon, light orange, a bit of barnyard. Mouth feel is light, soft body, lively carbonation, very watery. Overall, would make a GREAT refreshing summer beer.

Jan 29, 2010 colore giallo chiaro,torbido, la schiuma è soffice, ma fugge via veloce, con una effervscenza moderata. profumo agrumato, note di lievito. E’ al palato che ogni volta rimango deluso da questa birra, non capisco come l’associ sempre ad un detersivo, benchè non ne abbia mai bevuto uno, c’è una frizzantezza acida di fondo, che sovrasta le vaghe note di frutta e spezie.

Jan 27, 2010 A very good ‘small guy’ alternative to Hoegaarden. Wonderful nose of slate, minerals, pepper and a touch of smoke. Very Riesling-like. Palate is more fruity with softer and sweeter citrus fruits. The flinty, peppery note kicks in again late. Relatively dry for the style.
