| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 24, 2007 Caged and corked. Subdued orange-yellow and moderately sedimented and a light bubbly head. Very light aroma, a subtle version of canned mandarin oranges. The flavor is creamsicly, gummy, lightly spicy. The mouthfeel is slippery, but almost with a velour texture. At the finish is an odd vegetabley mushroominess or something. Lacks the nice sparkley sweet finish of the best in style. (#3063, 8/24/2007) Ernest (4536), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, basement), with notes of gum, clove, pepper, and alcohol. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Attractive aroma, but rather sweet. Probably the best of the -ique series from Proef. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 29, 2007 The aroma is very Belgian. It’s got yeast, malt, spice, and fruit. The appearance is golden with a moderately large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s drinkable but not the best. biggcb (464), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 Bottle. Pours a bright golden yellow color with a lively, fizzy white head. Aroma is mostly yeast/dough, some spice, citrus, and some malt. The flavor is much the same as aroma, with everything coming together in an odd way. It is not bad, but not very balanced. And too carbonated IMO. westcaulder (1), USA does not count | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/20 | Apr 7, 2007 This is almost undrinkable sour. I’ve had a bunch of Belgian beers and this is the first one I TRULY dislike.
