BeerViking (9209) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2020 PET bottle from Aldi Sud. Pours a rich deep red-brown with a lasting tight beige foam and a malty nose with notes of red fruit. Pretty decent - no great depth, and it's perhaps a little bit over-sweet, but it's malty and lightly fruity, with a burnt edge and drying noble hop bitterness. Sure, it's cheap supermarket beer, but they've made a good job of it within the space they've been given.

Zlotta (8946) - Hagen, GERMANY - AUG 23, 2017
Sampled from 0.5 l plastic bottle from local ’Aldi’, best before February 2018. Clear, deep brownish red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally roasty aroma of caramel, brown sugar and nuts with a touch of chocolate. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit roasty taste of caramel, toasted nuts, some chocolate and hints of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad actually!

Fruity and not an alt, more like a low quality bitter but its very very cheap.

aleigator (945) - GERMANY - NOV 2, 2014
Decent, foamy head, with a clear brown-ember color. Has aromas of sugary malts, toffee and copper. Taste begins with a mellow, earthy maltiness, which turns sweeter during the drinking process, while its finish adds a subtle bitter note. Carbonation is very lively and well recognizable in a slightly metallic fashion, among settled, earthy malts. Has a one-dimensional, thin body, resluting in a malt-sweetness defined brew. Finishes watery, with bready, toffeish malts still noteable.

Reminyze (8421) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JUN 7, 2014
Pours out of the (plastic) bottle in a deep brown colour with low airy head and medium to thin body. Aroma of cake and malt. Taste of malt, barley, cake, biscuits, straw and hops. Mild bitter and thin finish. Not very nice.

Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Malty and grainy aroma with some light hops.

Test vom 24.4.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,9,8,10,9 - 8,65

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - MAY 18, 2011
12/10/11/11/5/11

Bottled, thanks Bov! Copper colour, average head. Roasty butter aroma. Sweet and mellow with offputting burnt vegetable flavour and plenty of butyric acid. Oddly funky and really awful.
