The lace looks like something that sat on the counter in a half full glass for a week during the summer in fresno. It’s pretty thick. The nose is super piny hops. A bit of funkiness hides behind the Christmas tree. Taste is similar to the nose. Bright pine tree, some almost farmhouse funkiness ala Hop Stoopid, and bitter stickiness at the end. Not overly sweet at all. Damn fine IPA. More striking than some IIPAs I’ve had. Tejas (715), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pine, floral, apricot, lemon, and mild berry aroma. Pine, grapefruit, mild-sweet malt flavours. Full-bodied, balanced, with lasting bitterness. Refreshing and sessionable. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 4, 2009 22 oz. bottle - thanks to weeheavySD for the trade; clear, orange and thin white head; such a tasty IPA and while not quite as good in the bottle as on draft, it still shines here; fruit, yeasty with oranges and lots of malty goodness; hops go more for the sweetness than bitterness, which works well here; nice and dry finish; a lovely IPA CelticBrew (730), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Well, here it is. Poured from bomber, light folder hue, off white foamy head appears. Aroma of grapefruits, malts and hops follow. Flavour is well balanced, hops and malts half way in the middle, giviving way to tropical fruits and pines. Extremely smooth, and dangerous. Tremendous beer, exceptional! tokyogoat (597), San Diego, California, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Pours a fairly pale golden yellow. Very clear with a nice moderate sized head and gobs of lacing.
Nose is dominated by c-hops, big and bright and fresh smelling.
Taste is pretty damn dry, very little sweetness, tons of hop bitterness, and a full range of hop flavor starting with a slightly harsh bitterness, then some floral flavors, and finishes huge on grapefruit and citrus. kenb (1102), Oregon, USA

Pours an almost clear amber with an average white head. Nose is floral hop goodness. Taste is all about the floral/perfumy hops. A nice IPA with a big in your face hop profile, but not one i am crazy about. beersearcher (414), Glendale, California, USA
