A refreshing example of an India Pale Ale from the master brewers at Belhaven. The blend of Cascade and Challenger hops combine to produce an abundance of fresh hop aroma that preludes a bitter-dry taste explosion. Crafted from nearly three centuries of brewing heritage at Scotland’s oldest independent brewery, this ale from Belhaven will have your taste buds tingling.
6.1% USA export version. The Europe version is 5.3%.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2023 Nice modern design but trad purple. Grassy lemon nose. Lemony zest, still malty in taste, quite tame ipa really. Fresh citrus aftertaste. Creamy. Decent.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2023 Colore giallo dorato scuro e schiuma fine. Il profumo è forte, spiccano i malti tostati ma anche i luppoli: sentori fruttati e dolciastri, ma anche erbacei. In bocca è inizialmente dolciastra, ma con un finale amaro ed affumicato.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2022 Nærmest intet hoved, dybbrun klar væske. Den har denne her græsnote, jeg sædvanligvis hader, MEN den er så diskret her, at den fungerer i malten og humlen. Light body. Ret crispy.

Aroma: fruchtiger hopfen, malzig, himbeer, zitrus,
Antrunk: fruchtig hopfen
Midtrunk: leichte bitternis malzig
Nachtrunk: angenehme bitterniss, schockladige röstaromen, mild prickelnd
Fazit: sehr interessantes bier. Eine schöne bandbreite, auch über den typischen bitter ale hinaus. Das wäre ein schönes bier um die vielfallt des geschmacks zu demonstrieren. Sehr gut.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2020 Draught @ Dive 106 (1/28/20). Faintly cloudy golden with very small frothy whitish head, faint grassy flavor, high carbonation, medium bitter light caramel taste with piney hops, smooth body, longish finish. Enjoyable.
