Smooth, delicious. Fine champagne-like lively carbonation. Sweet-tart strawberry flavor with hardly any beer characteristics. Clean finish. Melbourn has been a favorite of mine for many years, so I will be sad to see these brews disappear. The Melbourn brews are easy to fall in love with, even for non-beer drinkers!

very fruity aroma, sugar and berries mostly, like candy. similar flavor, overly sweet but also fairly tart. it’s really more candy than beer, but it’s not bad, and not quite cloying.
a bit effervescent and somewhat slick. not very lambic-y, other than slight sour notes. Rustyham (691), miami, Florida, USA

It’s like those all natural fruit roll-ups you can get at Smoothie King, you can feel the grain left by the pressed fruit. My only regrets are that it was not more sour and the body was a little thin. SudsMcDuff (1976), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Pours a dark pink-ruby colour, with a very respectable head ring, good swirls .. . Tangy and sweet, light light tartness, with a very pure strawberry flavour, medium finish .. . 1-1, just like the scoreline the beer evens out, very refreshing stuff!!A great strange little beer, that really isn’t to involved but generally enjoyable.. .
