Dec 30, 2008 I notice the suspended sediment right away and it is more concentrated in the center of the glass with an orange hue and dissipates to the sides and the bottom where the color becomes yellow. Clean, doughy aroma. More dough, in fact that’s really tasty. It isn’t for a while that i get the floral hop finish. Ends a bit metallic.

Apr 28, 2004 cloudy yellow, white head. fruity(apple, peach?) malt and grainy aroma. straight ahead malty lager with a good firm bitterness. nice.

Nov 10, 2007 Poured an attractive hazy copper with a fluffy off white head that disappears quickly. Interesting spicy, bready sweet aroma. Flavor is pretty complex, with a bread like flavor dominating, with some spice and herb burried in the middle. A subtle smokey flavor shows through also. Clean, dry finish. Quite interesting!

Nov 27, 2008 [Bottle bought in Bamberg.] Labelled with a Kellerbier sign on the original label. Lightbrown hazy look with good head. Some yeasted, citric aroma added with malty notes. Flavor more sour and dry with bread, but more citric as usually.

Jul 29, 2005 This was interesting.Poured cloudy orange with hints of gold peeking thru the clouds.Malts and slight fruit is what i get out of it.It was quite refreshing and clean.

Aug 1, 2006 At the brewery tap in an earthenware mug.
Almost no head. Muddy, amber to orange body. Aroma of flowers and perfume. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. The flavour is not too intense, but it is very well balanced and a nice beer. Reminds me of a sweet lambic due to the total flatness of this beer.
