16.9 oz can. Pours mahogany with thin white head that left a little bit of lace. Sweet, caramel, malty, nutty flavor. Too sweet for me. Best thing about this beer is the scary ass goblin on the can.

Bottle. A - Deep brown with dark ruby edges. Large, froathy white head. S - Grainy and caramel malt. Also good amount of nut and a little fruit. T - Fairly sweet caramel, toffee, and some grainy malt. Good amount of nut flavors. A hint of earthy hops come through as well. Some bitterness also comes through (some taste a bit like dark/bitter chocolate). M - Light bodering medium body. Moderate carbonation. A little watery, and fairly smooth. D - Very drinkable. Lots of good moderately sweet flavors with just enough hop and bitterness to balance it. Light and smooth. Notes: Tasty, nice all-around beer. Well balanced with a pretty good diversity of flavors. Not an amazing beer, but very good session-like beer.

Bottle. Pours a ruby red colour, with an off-white head that evaporates fairly quickly. Aromas are of caramel, toffee, nuts, sweet malts and a small amount of hops. The flavours in the beer are quite nutty, with some caramel, toffee and sweet bready malts. It also has a small amount citrus hops. It has a medium body that is quite crisp. This for me feels like an autumn beer, that would go well with a nice Shepherds Pie or an Irish/English stew. Overall a good beer, thats is not either over the top or exceptional in any way.

Rich amber colored brew. Smells of sweet caramel/toffee. Had this bottle at The Bar. The taste is very smooth, one of caramel and earthy/grainy notes. Very drinkable, overall a tasty beer.

1pt .9 oz, no ABV. Pours out much lighter than I would have expected, but dark nontheless. dark brown with a hint of red transparent with a tight light brown head with a hint of red. Hoppy, wow much more that I expected, but a sweet taste follows the hops. Not a bad beer

Wasnt a bad way to start the night and the ruby brown color of it was nice topped by a foamy white head. A small caramel aroma took some serious noseing to get anything and a slight bitter taste was all i saw in the flavor but the mouth feel was just right in thickness.
