Commercial Description:
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Poured beautiful golden amber hue....from bottle. Great white head and carbonation. Wonderful lacing. Aroma is sage and sandlewood. Very soapy on the finish. This would be nicer if it was dry hopped. Lost alot respect for this beer as soon as i twisted of the cap. WTF?

12 oz bottle via Malt of Earth Beer Club. Pours a semi hazy gold with a small white head. Nose is lemony with some floral hoppiness. Starts out farily sweet and then turns spicy, some ginger perhaps, then some lemon tartness in the finish. A bit of chalkiness in the aftertaste. Body is thin, carbonation is high. An ok backyard summertime sort of beer.

Poured beautiful golden amber hue....from bottle. Great white head and carbonation. Sweet wheat and citrus aroma. Very strong honey flavors. The notes do not last long and end abrubtly. This is a nice beer...thanks.

Poured a nice crisp looking amber hue, there was barely any head. Aroma was very malt, mainly bread but some honey notes. Flavor was at first subtly sweet with honey and wheat notes, then was balanced out by a slight hop bitterness. Id have to say this beer was mild, but still refreshing.

Bottle. Poured a hazy, golden with a medium white head. Nice lacing. Sweet, citrus aroma. Decent mouthfeel. Flavor is malty with a grapefruit kick to it. Nothing fantastic, but a good beer since it supports the New Orleans restoration.

Rated 6/24/07. Clear dark gold color with a small white head. Aroma is malt based, but has hints of fresh cut grass, fresh wheat, citrus, sweet apples, and a good amount of hops. Flavor follows suit, and is hoppier than expected. Very nice beer. Drank this outside in 95 degree Florida weather and it was refreshing. Somewhat watery body, but drinking anything heavier in hot weather would not be pleasant. I loved it. Very nice beer, and for a good cause ($1 per six pack is donated to Hurricane Katrina victims in LA).
