Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied gold ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, caramel and toffee. Hops are slightly floral and citrusy. Some very lively carbonation in this beer. Drinkable, but nothing special. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet zach8270 (2274), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is light and biscuity with some light hints of hops and some sweet malts. Flavor is dry and grassy at the beginning with a very mild and sweet middle. Crisp and lightly bitter on the finish. I wouldn’t have guessed that Abita used Cascade and Centennial hops in the brew, all hop presence hardly noticeable in the mild, sweet drink. Still, I’ll have no way putting away this golden ale, and be happy knowing that I’m contributing some relief money to the great city of New Orleans while doing so.

Aroma is of bread and floral hops. Flavor is bready as well. A touch of lemon as well. Light and airy palate. Easy to drink but nothing much to remember. A good cause though! trafford (171), Germantown, Tennessee, USA

IT had a nice dark golden color with some mild hops. Hey with a $1 going towards New Orleans, I will support them as often as I can find it here in Memphis. alabamajohn (67), Alabama, USA

Tastes a little hoppy, lightly acidic finish. Very thin, I’m afraid. Could use a little more personality. Not bad, overall. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Aroma is typical of a Golden Ale, malts, honey, light corn (almost mead like). Flowery body, light hops... fair, but not great taste. Bland ending, again fair but not great. It pours with a pale golden color, displays some hoppy aroams together with malts and some citrus. The citrus is also most dominant in the flavor department and the body is fairly watery. All right but not memorable.
