COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Doing what they do best, our friends at LERVIG brewed a stout specifically for this blend with our Oude Lambiek. After it had spent some months in Cognac barrels, they blended the Lambic in. This blend was then matured in Akevitt barrels.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2023 Bottled. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted, some tart/sour wooden tones, mild earth with some Akevitt. Flavour is roasted malts, some chocolaty tones with a nice tartish sour thing kicking in. Actually surprisingly smooth and easy going too.

Beer5000 (10641) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2021 Well stored bottle. Black body under a small beige head. Aroma is funky Brett with dark, mild roasted malt and coffee. Taste is acidic and sour with dark malt and all the funky stuff rom a Geuze. It’s a fine and balanced blend between a stout and a Geuze. Some akevett notes, but not much Cognac. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste of the same flavors. A successful blend indeed.

josanguapo (5205) - SPAIN - JUL 16, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 16, 2020 De Zombier. En copa Teku. Jugando a Gris. Con galletas tostarica. El ácido toma demasiado protagonismo, apareciendose poco de la stout que hay por debajo y haciéndola lenta de beber
