Pours a nice thick white head with a orange amber color. There is also some nice streaks that are left along the sides of the glass. The nose has some pine and bitter hops with hints of orange peel. Initially the flavor is spicy and has a lot of bitter hops. As you drink it you can really taste the orange and pine on your palate long after the sip. Overall it is a nice beer considering it was drank on a hot day and the head retention was not that good since the beer was warming rather quickly.

Mar 20, 2010 Right in the middle, best way for me to describe it. Has a good aroma of hops, but not too overpowering. The taste is smooth but has a good good bitter finish.

Mar 20, 2010 Enjoyed cask-style. Really minimal head on an orange beer with just a slight haze. Really interesting hop aroma predominantly of pink grapefruit with just a hint of cotton candy. Flavor was a bit sweeter than I’d expect in an IPA, not very bitter. Medium body and the alcohol not all that noteceable. The finish goes on until you brush your teeth and go to bed. Very nice offering but I’d enjoy it more tipped a little away from the malt sweetness.

Mar 18, 2010 Bottle: While not as dominating with the hops as I was expecting, this beer is nonetheless delicious. It smells like flowers and has an oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. The onset is citrus and the finish is pine. Very good.

Mar 17, 2010 Draft at Franklins. Orange-tan color, steady thin head. Hoppy orange citrus aroma. Lots of hop character, very zesty and full of fresh, green hop flavor. Chewy mouthfeel, with some noticeable alcohol. Nice crisp, cool finish. Well done.

Mar 9, 2010 12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours clear and deep orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is solid grapefruity and pinewood hoppy. Caramelish and overripe fruity hops flavoured. Bitter and dry into a roasted caramelish finish. Dry hoppy and caramelish malty.

Mar 3, 2010 Pours a clear light amber color with lots of bubbles and a white head. Significant lacing on glass. Aroma is of citrus, mostly orange. Taste is incredibly smooth for an IPA. Definitely get some orange taste on the back end. On the front end there’s a bit of maltiness. Very well-balanced, with just the right amount of bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and long-lasting. A delightful, drinkable beer. Highly recommended.

Mar 3, 2010 Pours a clear amber color with a thin head, some life. Has an aroma of grapefruit, citrus, and apricot, with a hint of caramel. Has a somewhat creamy bitterness taste with a sweet finish. The mouthfeel kills this for me. Too watery and a bit bland for me (and not just with regard to bitterness). With triple hops and the abv at over 7% you would think this is a 2IPA and yet it feels more like an IPA.
