Apr 15, 2008 Bottle. Grassy hop aroma with light malt. Slightly hazy gold color with a decent white head. Thin to medium body with sharp carbonation that turns creamy. A little watery, not much hop, could be a faint hit of "hot" hop spice. Finishes a little herby. Fairly clean. Not much to it, all in all.

Mar 6, 2009 pours very clear golden with thcik white head.
Aroma is grainy, with notes of corn.
Taste, reminded me a lot of pilsnener, weak, some wheat, leaves a nasty metalic thick palate mouthfeel with some grauny/corn touch.
Sweet, easy to drink, but really another weak effort by Abita.

Mar 31, 2008 This beer is pretty odd in my eyes. It pours very very very clear golden in color with little head. Looks lighter than bud light. Aroma of the beer has a strong skunky scent. Flavor is virtually absent in this beer minus the final sweet taste of corn and slight bit of hops. The carbonation is pretty decent and the mouth feel is kinda surprising since its so light and clear in color was expecting a very watered down beer but wasn’t the case. Overall, a beer I am only going to have once.

Oct 14, 2005 Abita has very little aroma except for some hardly noticible spiceness. The color is a light golden and the head is white. No aftertaste is detected but the taste is not unpalatable.

Dec 5, 2008 Short 12oz twistoff bottle. Bright golden yellow color. tall fizzy white head. Aroma of corn meal and straw. Flavor is very sweet. Not a balanced beer. Very little hop presence. Some bitterness. Maybe 1 or 2 IBUs. Corn sugar sweet flavor and that is all. Same ole Abita.
