Pours a gold color with a white head that quickly disappers. Smells corny and grainy. Sweet malts followed by a considerable amount of bitterness. I’ve had better....

Which I kind of question as the beer I tasted is way better than those rated here. I sometimes wonder about these kind of beers that are produced and bottled all over the globe. Can there be significant regional differences even though it is supposed to be the "same" beer? But I digress.
Was not anticipating much as I generally loathe lagers. Poured the middle of the road pale yellow with a minimal white fizzy head. I was surprised at the light aroma - maybe a little grassy and a touch of malt - but absolutely none of the skunk I usually associate with the style. The mouth feel was crisp and lively. The flavor was clean and slightly sweet to begin with, but ended with a decent amount of bittering from the hops. I drank it ice cold and didn’t let i warm up - which from experience with the style would change matters.
This will be my go to lager for now. Might re-rate if I ever come across it in the blue bottle. My experience with lagers is that bottled ones seem more skunky than canned ones. verymerrymonk (266), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Someone previously compared this to Becks and I can’t say I disagree. Same skunky, sweet malty flavor and thin lively body. For some reason I like it. Itzjerm (71), Harvest, Alabama, USA

The flavor is like feet. I drank part of bottle tried to make it ... but it ended up in the drain. This may be an all time bad. Wow ... german beer... wow bad drowland (1516), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Guy at the checkout tells me it’s really good and it tastes like Becks. Sweet, sugary, corn-like aroma with hints of dough, biscuits, and a little grass. Very sweet. Transparent yellow body with a fair, large white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Has a light sweetness to start, before it becomes very mineral-like in the middle. Has a fair amount of bitterness to finish, but it is quite metallic and a little harsh. Not so good. GMUcrew7 (396), Mason, Ohio, USA

Similar flavor, sweet grain with some grass. Not bad for a pale lager, only paid $5.60 for 6 16oz cans, better than paying $8 for 16oz plastic bottles of Bud or MGD. topherh (1045), Kearney, Missouri, USA
