Pretty average in my opinion. Deep dark brown/ruby pour with a big frothy head. Some chocolate in the aroma, as well as some malt and sweetness. Kind of thin, yet complex flavor. Some yeast and fruits dominate this flavor, yet I've had much better than this.

Pours a dark brown with large froathy offwhite head. Aroma is toasted caramel and figs. Flavor sweet and dark cherries, bit too over the top sweetness, but decent. Medium mouthfeel.

Ma che sorpresa che sorpresa; che la stappo e annuso il collo della bottiglia e mi arriva una botta pazzesca di albicocca/pesca fresca spiazzante mista a zuccherosi (canna) toni o caramello però di una dolcezza proprio stramba che quando la verso non so bene cosa aspettarmi. Ma il colore spacca il banco dello stanco: c’è un scuro nero con schiuma beige mooolto chiara e decisamente abbondante e persistente e l’aroma è lo stesso ma più smorzato e bilanciato dall’alcool. Nel sapore è un sentore veloce, subito subentra un qualcosa di scuro, quasi caffè comunque abbastanza tostato, che si confonde con il piccante dell’alcool in una frizzantezza forse esagerata sostenuta da un corpo importante ma non troppo mapposo. Oi, è buona. Manco parente della sua versione diurna. Bravi bravi

Sweet spice aroma with fruit and malt. Cloudy brwon colour with good head and lacing. Full spice flavour with malt and fruit. Fizzy palate.

The foamiest beer I have ever seen. Dark brown beer with a lot of suspended sediment visible when held to light. The head is tan and dense and frothy and foamy. The aroma is of belgian yeast and dark brown belgian sugar. The taste is mellow dark sugar with woodtones, and a smoothness that’s very unique for a big beer. Beer comes of with a medium body and a sourness that make ya pucker. The finish is unfortunately a little metallic.

on tap at the ginger man, poured a dark brown color with minimal head and very light carbination. aroma has malt, light smoke, caramel, and a distinct molasses. mouth feel is medium with flavors of smooth malt, light back ground hop, caramel, some peat, and although it is a sticky brew comes off very smooth. finish is light, no noticeable bite or bitterness and leaves a malt taste on the tongue.

Medium tan head receding fast, dark brown body with hints of red, sweet slightly fruity nose with alcohol notes. Strong alcohol finish. Very sweet body, with brown sugar and ... Let’s just say it’s not two-dimensional.

Bottle from Canals. Amber pour with spice/bready aromas. Candy sugar and fruit taste. It was okay for me.
