Bottle. Not so bad, but quite light. Shows some light spiceyness (kind of a Christmasy sort of spice- cinnamon, nutmeg), but as i say it is quite light. Some caramel and dark fruit, with some light acidity.

Backlogging: Brown with a dense head. Spicy: cinnamon, cloves, carnation plus some citric notes too. The flavour though is a bit unbalanced with an annoying mettalic finish.

Unclear red brown with a medium beige head. Aroma had anise, carnations, roasted malt, caramel and hints of smoke. Flavour was quite smoky and had roasted malt and spises. Clearly infected.

bottle at home. aroma is very very spicy, but not strong spicy. quite elegant balancing act going on. nelliker, orange, lots of cristmas inspired spice in the aroma.also bread, malts. appears goldenredbrown with a decent head. flavor is caramelly sweet, spices not very strong, a little malty, alc. very well hidden until the aftertaste, a girlie beer. i like it. palate is a bit watery but the overall impression is a great cristmas ale

Bottle. Mahogany colour with huge head. Aroma cinnamon, spices and malt. Taste very spicy probably cinnamon to an extent that isn´t pleasing some little strange sour notes as well. 50 cl gets too much.

0.5 l bottle. Hazy mahagony color. Sweetish aroma with ginger, clove, cinnamon, licorice and dark bread. Heavily spicy flavor with cristmas spices, dark rye bread, cola and plastic. The spiciness is fairly strong but not overboard.

Bottled:
Pours ruby with weak head. Vinous, sourish aroma with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Smells a bit like Anchor OSA. Flavour is vinous, sourish and has notes of caramel, spices, peat and ash. The problem with experimental micro-brews is that sometimes you just can’t tell if the bottle has gone bad or if it is supposed to taste that way.

Bottled, December 2007. Dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of x-mas spices. Flavor of caramel and yeasty fruit notes. High carbonation.
