Commercial Description:
A big Hazelnut Brown Ale with a warm, nutty, toffee-like flavor. A wonderful winter warmer to enjoy with friends during the holiday seasons. A wildly big strong ale we call the Big Shot.

Bottle back from nashville from about a month ago. Decent sweet malty flavor. Nutty and toffee character as well. Pours a syrupy, murky looking brown color. Caramel and toffee aroma. Decent drink. Possibly getting this one a little late in the game here though.

Thanks to unclemike for this beer. Reddish pour with big tan head. Nose of toasted malts, nuts and earth. Flavor is similar, but not as complex, which a bit disappointing. Decent palate, but not creamy or smooth at all. Not bad.

Crushed with Jakebra and Honkeybra. Sweet malt nose with some roast. Kinda bland but very easy to drink. Unremarkable but prety nice.

This beer poured a clear, dark reddish brown with a small, diminishing white head that left a little lacing. The aroma is really warm; heavy with malt, hazelnuts and alcohol with a trace of cellar and maple. The palate is light-to medium bodied with an easy texture and lively carbonation. The flavor is initially sweet and nutty, giving way to a long, bitter finish. Very enjoyable and drinkable—I’d take share this at a holiday gathering without hesitation.

Pours a clear, reddish brown with a lot of small rising bubbles and a three finger, creamy, beige head that gradually diminishes, leaving behind patchy lace. The nose is of nutty, toasted malt and faint earthy hops. Light to medium-bodied and creamy with a toasty, dry finish. The flavor is a nutty malted front with a mild, spicy/earthy hopped finish. This is a decent brown, but it’s not anything I’m likely to buy again.

22 oz. bottle. Clear mahogany with a sturdy tan head that showed reasoanble durability and lace. Caramel, pine, spice, and some nice roasted aromas. Medium body and carbonation that leave a dry, and very slightly astringent palate. Sweet burnt caramel flavor that succumbs to a a spicy, softly bitter finish. Very drinkable holiday offering.

Pours a copperish brown with a tan head. Aroma is malty with hints of biscuit, toast, caramel, and a bit or roastedness. Flavor has a slight spiceness with some earthiness and malt flavor. There is a slight touch of hops and a moderate finish.
