| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange/gold with typical billowy head. Aroma is unmistakenly brett and funky. Probably the most in any Jolly Pumpkin I’ve tried. Slight nuttiness in the taste to go along with the funk, pepper, and brett. Somewhat prickly on the palate and goes down yeasty and slightly tart.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2010 750 ml. bottle. Batch 244, 245. Shared with Gabe. Pours a tiny bubbled, lasting white head, with sea foam lacing, over a cloudy, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is barnyard, lemon, apple....taste is light, almost sweet apple/ lemon then puckering sour, followed by a slightly bitter barnyard finish....mouth feel is light and carbonation low. This is a pleasant, but not overly complex, Sour Ale. The Brett qualities are quite dominant. BJCP 8/3/13/4/7 MereLikesBeer (178), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2010 Shared a bottle of this with BeerBaron617. It poured a nice hazy orange/amber/chestnut color with a thick off white foamy head. Doesn’t have the super sour aroma that many Jolly Pumpkin beers have. It tasted sour, but not quite as sour as some we have had. The spices in the flavor are quite subtle, and it wasn’t very remarkable. thirdeye11 (1166), Texas, USA

Nose of sour cherries and other tart fruits as well as funk. Taste of dry tart fruits, white wine, oak, unsweet malt with a nice tart, well carbonated finish. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2010 Updated: Jan 21, 2010A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Kook Fest tasting. Hazy orange with a thin white head. Good sour fruity stuff and typical Jolly Pumpkin. Not a great deal happening but the lemony acidity is just right and the barrel and nutty notes are really good. Very clean and drinks some way below its strength. Mora2000 (564), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Pretty much tastes like pure brett with a slight hint of chestnuts. Has nice carbonation and a nice mouth feel. I like some Brett beers and a lot of sours; this was not one of them.
