It poured a beautiful, frothy, white head with thick & chunky lacing. It displayed a clear gold color. The hops were grapefruit hints as you would expect with little malts. Others notes in the aftertaste were grass/hay. It sticks around for a while and has a great feel in the mouth. Does well in its category. chick1nr (1), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA does not count | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2005 A nice average IPA... Very bitter with nice color and aroma. Has flavor and smell of light citrus Juelze (955), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 25, 2005 Pours a light orangish color that seems a bit peculiar when compared to other IPA’s. Smells of hops followed by some sort of pungent scent. Almost like slight oxidation. Upon first taste it’s hops as usual but as it warms/lingers in your mouth you can taste the fruitiness of the hops and as it fades away you can pick up the caramel malt. Better then I expected it still doesn’t measure to my ideal IPA. Lacks the fruitiness from the hops. sirphobos (32), 29 Palms, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with the hops oils coming thru, but also some caramel. The flavor is very hoppy, here the hop oils also make their presence, combined with some lesser grass notes and a very dry bitter end. Odeed (1707), Bakersfield, California, USA
