leszke (1342) - Wroclaw, - SEP 2, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2023 Brąz Klar, wysoka kremowa piana, aromat mocno kakao czekolada. Lekkie, średnio wysycone, a smakuje zupełnie jak czekolada i to taka z tych slodszych, nieco kakaowej goryczki na posmaku zostaje nawet dość długo, niezły ciemniak.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2023 Bardzo ciemny, klarowny rubin. Piana przeciętna, czepliwa, beżowa. Pachnie przesłodzoną kawą, raczej zbożową. I tak smakuje. Do tego trochę paloności, kwasku. Taki sobie ciemniak.

vladeath (3752) - RUSSIA - APR 24, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2023 Good foam. Nose: Slightly soapy aroma with hints of dark malts and a hint of hops. Clear, malty, light dark malts, low hops, Weak Czech Tmavy in that very simple (commercial) tends to be a dark euro lager.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2023 Naah- den hælder mørk med fin offwhite skum. Den har dog en ret sødlig maltsmag, næsten ala nisseøl, og har en glasagtig aroma. Dårlig kvalitet indeed.

thegreenrooster (6940) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 8, 2022
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2022 Pour is a clear but dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a small roasty malt but more of a raisin. Flavor is more of a dark fruit than anything else. Finish is a little syrupy with some caramel left on the tongue. Probably one of those beers where having it in the home country would do it a world of difference. As it is now it's kind of meh but was still going in the right direction.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2022 500 ml bottle. Dark, mahogany brown color. Rocky tan head. Sweet, earthy roasted malt aroma. Flavor is sweet roasted malt. Very lightly carbonated. Not much character other than the dark maltiness. Caramel, dried fruit, dark bread. A bit on thin side. Somewhat disappointing.

Green bottle. Why? Dark brown. Beige frothy head leaving a filmy lace. Aroma of roasted malt & coffee. Light to medium body. Thin texture. Sweet bready flavour with with a note of brown sugar. Light bitterness. The balance is OK. The ending is preliminary malty. Some hops appearing in the aftertaste. Generally decent.

MNAle (694) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 30, 2022
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2022 500ml green bottle with the label code of L2021145. The optimistic decoding of that is May 26, 2021 (Lyyyyddd). The store sold this as singles, so no huge commitment in either money or left-overs in the ’fridge. Clear dark body. Dark ruby-red with a back-light showing moderate carbonation. 1 inch off-white to light tan head from a gentle pour. The head is thick and creamy with moderate retention, receding evenly keeping a flat surface and leaving a short sheet of lacing just above the receding head. Attractive strings of lacing are left on the side of the glass as I drink. Toasted bread aroma. The bread reminds me a bit of pumpernickel, but it’s not quite strong enough to call it that for sure. Seems slightly sweet. The flavor is stronger on the pumpernickel bread, along with slight sweetness, perhaps a bit of spice. The middle picks up a bit of a metallic twang that carries through to the finish and the aftertaste, which becomes even more prominent as the beer warms. The finish and aftertaste also develops some sweetness that reminds me of caramel. The overall balance is good and the flavor from beginning to finish would be pleasant and enjoyable were it not for the metallic aspect. The body is on the thin side of moderate with a fairly flat feel. Overall, it could be enjoyable, especially the spicy pumpernickel toast, but the flavor suffers quite a bit from the metallic character that lingers in my mouth.
