Bottle. Pours light yellow, big bubbles, decent head. Yeasty, floral aroma. Light taste, citrus, flowers. Pretty easy to drink. Maybe good for introducing Belgian beer to the inexperienced. Tastes stronger than it is. I’d even go so far as to say it’s a session beer, on a summer afternoon.

Funky clove nose, akin to battery acid. Hazy yellow, thick head. Sour coriander and cabbage flavor. Much spicier than fruity and slightly vegetal. DMS is more prominent when warm. Aside from defects, it’s still quite enjoyable. Refreshing.

BQ2010. Pours a hazy yellow body with no head. I think our bottle leaked because it did not pop when opened. Aroma was amazing. Full of banana and orange peel which carried over into the flavor.

Had this beer while on Beer Quest 2010 with the guys. This was beer number 53. Pours a hazy yellow with no head. I think my bottle leaked because it did not pop when opened. Aroma was amazing. Full of banana and orange peel which carried over into the flavor.

33CL Bottle, Hazy pale yellow with a large white head. Very healthy carbonation level. Aromas of tart lemon and a little red wine vinegar mixed with sweet apple and pear and a little clove and mustiness. Very interesting. Sour citrus and white grape flavors that mellow out enough at the finish to remove the pucker. Flavors are much more subtle than the aromas. More spices and sour citrus than yeast or hops. Pretty easy drinker.

Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head. Dank aroma with yeast, wood and a tart/funky smell...flavor is pretty tart and a bit dry with some yeast and lemon.

Bottle at blind tasting 5/09. Pours cloudy yellow with white head that faded quickly. Nice grapefruit aroma. Littla vanilla up front, then a nice sour citrus finish. Very lively on the tongue.

Clear golden, thin white head, no lacing. Aroma is very sweet and candish, some lemon citrus, very light spice. Flavour is again rather sweet, some spice and citrus, floral. Sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes sweet, some black pepper.

Not like other wits for sure. One of the sweeter ones that I have had.

650ml bottle obtained in a trade with TheJester, thanks Andy.
Opened on March 20, 2009.
Best before March 2009.

Bottle. A sweet aroma of malt and fruits, quite unusual. The white medium large head has a normal duration, the body is dark yellow. The taste is very fruity with a light sour finish. The body is creamy, light to medium with a lively carbonation.
