| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2010 The aroma is mildly sweet, with a predominant toffee prescence. Wild notes of toasted hazlenut. The appearance is a bit flat in appearance with a deep clean peanut shell color. The taste of the beer is like vanilla ice cream with nuts and rich caramel and toffee notes. The feel is dangerously smooth you could probaly drink a hundred of these provide you could take the volume on. Capa (1033), Yokosuka, Japan

Vanilla extract, sweet malts, chocolate, sugary molasses in the aroma. Clear amber/brown. It doesn’t tast too bad when pulled from the fridge but gets too sweet when it warms up a bit. Vanilla, molasses, and chocolate. Too much vanilla. Mediocre. pellegjr (47), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 31, 2010 Bottle, pours a clear auburn w/ a moderate off-white head, light aroma of spicy malt and some cherry, some of the aroma carries through to the flavor but it collapses under an ultra thin body, had some potential but they cheaped out by watering it down neepsntatties (403), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2010 Saw a single of this in the cooler at the store and thought, "What the hell!" Colour... dark amber-orange with a thick off white head. Nose... nutty, fairly strong vanilla, but like OLD vanilla that’s been in sitting in grandma’s pantry since Ike was president! Palate... fair amount of froth, some toffee and caramel with that old vanilla flavour muddling through and just a whisp of Bourbon. Not good, but not as bad as I thought it would be, esp. for a macro attempt at a Bourbon cask ale. TeamTrappist (456), jericho, New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 29, 2010 Tap at TriBeCa tavern. So this might have been a mistake. Poured a medium amber. Nose was sour like stale and malty. Bourbon? Where’s the bourbon?it’s spicy malty and pretty disjointed and bad. thekmoonlegend (103), Lynn, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 29, 2010 I actually found myself really liking this beer, mainly because of the taste. It poured a warm amber/brown color with not too much head. Aroma of weak spices, smelt a little like cinnamon, a little sweet. It was not a full-bodied as I would have hoped, but it tasted great. Flavors of vanilla, sweet malts. I recommend this beer on its own or after a meal, in my opinion its too sweet to drink all the time, but I would have this again. mcox90 (679), Wilton, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 29, 2010 12 oz bottle. Pours clear reddish/copper with a 1/2" off white head. Aroma is faint vanilla and caramel. Taste is pretty much the same. Moderate body with typical carbonation. While clearly a mass produced macro product masquerading as a craft brew, it wasn’t all that bad. I get a six or two every winter. jbye4334 (790), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
