It is served with a nice 1/2 to inch head. The taste is complex, in my palate and seeps into your soul. It warms you to the subtle bourbon tastes and rewards with no bitter, but quite a rewarding after taste. people complain about an artificial vanilla and bourbon taste, I don’t find that subtle taste as distracting. Maybe the bottles are different from taps, but I fond this brew high on my list with some is the Belgians (for they opulence in taste) in this unique class! (Rating #2915) bigrond (1065), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

It definately had a strong vanila taste. I normally dislike everything ’Bud’ or principle alone, but beer I liked. Tricountybeer (17), USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 5, 2010 I was hoping for better from AB, but that in itself is problematic most of the time. Surprisingly light bodied for a 6% ABV. Very sweet candy like taste, definitely get the vanilla, maybe a bit of nutty/roasty soy sauce flavor. Light after taste adding to the beers drink-ability. "Creating a better beer" than Keystone Light. Yes, they have accomplished this. dimenhetfield (320), , Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2010 12 oz. bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a clear amber with a finger of off white head. Lots of vanilla in the aroma along with some burnt sugar. Light to medium bodied. More vanilla in the flavor, but more of an artificial flavor, not vanilla from barrel aging. A slight hop bite in the finish. Not much going on here. Label say aged "on" barrels not in.
