Clear orangish amber, moderate head with good lacing and retention. Aroma is PNW hops, I’m guessing Columbus and Cascade.. but I usually get that wrong. Very similar to Racer 5, just smaller.

Pours mahogany with a thin tan head. Smells of resin, caramel, peppery, earthy. Tastes resiny and sticky with some sweet hints and a bitter, peppery finish.

Deep amber coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of nice deep hops, caramel, alcohol, malt and some nuts too. Not purely an IPA, but fairly decent. Medium-bodied; Nice hoppy flavour up front with a fairly strong malty backbone and a good nutty finish. Aftertaste shows some more hops - a good flavour that lasts for a nice while. Overall, a good IPA - not great. Nice to try as one of the few bottles I picked up from Portland. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Portland, Oregon on 18 November 2006.

Pours a vibrant orange/amber colour with a thick white head. Lacing is awesome, noticeable throughout the whole beer. Aroma is floral, piney and pushing grapefruit, lime and soft caramel on the nose. Taste is pretty nice as well- fruitforward- lotsahops, caramel two name a few flavors, finishes off with a slight spiciness. Very clean beer.

Lightly hazed dark amber color with a taller, stable, beige head and decent lace. Dichotomy of orange-aid aromas, with a mix of fresh squeezed orange juice and fake candi orange flavors. Cream and fresh cut lawn scent also in the mix. A very disjointed nose. Caramel malt and perfumed floral hops flavors. Just can not get past all the floral and seemingly artificial citric flavors. Part perfume, part beer, part floor cleaner.

Bomber poured a crystal clear deep gold with frothy off white head and nice lacing. The aroma is fairly sharp with citrus hops like grapefruit and un-ripe orange peel. There’s also a mild sweet malt note too. The taste starts with a brief blurb of sugary sweet malts that quickly get squelched by grapefruit hop bitterness then sharp tasting tangelo. Solid IPA

22oz, much better than i expected, no awful saison funk.. but a good solid IPA a bit darker in palate and flavor than some, not quite as bright and citrusy as Two Hearted but a good solid IPA for colder autumn nights.

With a name like farmhouse, I expected some kind of weird, barnyard character, or something unusual. A dry pale ale. Dry malt flavor and dry, herbal hops. Gold in color.

Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN, courtesy of JK. Pours a light coppery amber brew with an average off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and flowery hops, and a touch of yeast. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with plenty of flavor character of toffee, caramel and flowery hops. Finish has a spicey dry flavor that is quite interesting.
