Bottle shared with the crew,in late November, thanks R. Neat aroma - smoke, malt, very nice. Taste - holy crap, so much tobacco! I feel dirty just having tasted this! Like a beer from an ashtray. medium body. So earthy. Almost too much tobacco, but what an original and enjoyable creation.

750ml bottle (Bir&Fud, Rome) - said 8% on the label.
Big chocolate orange aroma. Really rich roasty body. Great roasty taste too. Carbonation pleasant, and a lovely smoothness to the palate. Finish has some green hops too. Delicious porter, no matter what strength it is.

Colore maron piuttosto scuro, poca schiuma molto rapida ad andarsene, aroma bello caffettoso, porter robusta e rotonda non stucchevole, decisamente una signora birra. Complimenti

@ Bir and Fud in Rome. According to their menu the beer is actually listed as 7% ABV. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of smoke, malt, and a little chocolate. Similar flavor. I thought this was a solid beer.

On tap at bir&fud, Rome. Coca cola color. Strong smoky flavour, some wet wood campfire associations. Lingering smoke in the finish. Not too balanced.

From tap at bir and fud. Pours dark brown to black with almost no head. Dry malty, roasted and slight earthy. Solid roasted, slight chocolate note in the intial flavour. Liqourice slowly appearing afterwards, goes into a light acidity before the finish. Dry malty and liqourice finish.

Bottled@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is licorice, some smoke as well as some dark berries. Flavour is roasted malts, licorice and quite tasty. Some mild vanilla and also tobaccoish (though this isn’t the tobacco version). Wellbalanced and nice porter. Licorice and smoke in the aftertaste.

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - pours a dark almost black colour under a creamy dark beige foam leaving a beautiful lace; gently roasted nose with notes of coffee and vanilla; respectable malt body and quite sweet, moderate carbonation and no real bitterness; lingering chocolatey, toasted aftertaste

On tap. Little choco head over a pit black appearance. Nice chocolate notes, licorice and coffee, medium bodied, balanced, bitter end.
