(bottle) hazy golden colour with a large frothy white head. aroma of smoked pork belly and candle wax, with a light touch of fruit cocktail, some herbal hops and capers. flavour is mostly heavy smoked bacon and pale malts, with lots of sugar icing, some paprika powder and a touch of ethanol in the light-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with lively carbonation.

Appearance: Yellow golden, hazy. Huge amount of creamy, white head. Sediments at bottom of bottle.
Aroma: Light fruits, citrus, light smoke.
Taste: Herbal, light tartness, tea. Some smoke. Not that sour/tart, which for me is a plus. Almost like a Lichtenhainer.
Bought: Wittich, 330 ml, CHF 5.00

Bottle from anstei, thanks! Terribly overcarbonated, gushing as hell. Aroma of brett + sulfur. After a while fruits come out and the smell mellows down. Once all the carbonation is gone with the head, the beer tastes flat. Tastes like Vitamin C tablets dissolved on the tongue. Smoked tea notes in the background - interesting. If they correct the carbonation, it will be much better.

Bottle from Beers'n'more. Pours unclear yellow with a big stable white head. Aroma is brett, funk, wood, leaves, herbs, phenols. Body is medium, softly sour and quite funky, with a strong lively carbonation. Flavours of some tea indeed, herbs too. Dryish palate with some herbs and bitterness sticking around. Good beer, but I don't get much of the smoked tea.

from CraftGallery - clear golden beer with a white foam left; distinctive smokiness with notes of tea and cheese; a good malt backbone, a bit tart and funky; some sweetness below, long and well-integrated smokiness with astringent notes of tea and flowers - very tasty

Bottle, my 250th Sour/Wild. Unclear golden color with huge stable creamy white head. Aroma is a beautiful combination of fresh wild yeasts and smoked tea, a touch citrusy, lemongrass. The combination really is amazing, though not too intense in flavour. Taste is Saison-style dough, tea, bready, citrusy. Silky mouthfeel with high but soft carbonation. Very long aftertaste of mild smoked tea. Tasty and well-balanced, I love it.

Citrus fruits, lime, lemongrass, tea, light smoked, sweet grain and bread malts. Slightly hazy, tiny, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter, smoked, malts, light tea, black tea, sweet grain and bread malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice Smoked, well-balanced. Bottle at The International Beer Bar, Zurich.
