Sep 19, 2009 pale yellow with a thin head and lacing on the glass. Grassy aroma of hops with a hint of citrus. Citrus and a hint of treacle in the flavour slightly fizzy.

Malt aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured smooth on the palate fruity and slightly wheaty with a little bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

Golden coloured hoppy and slightly sweet on the palate. Crisp and bitter lasting malt finish.

Dec 11, 2008 Cask, handpumped half pint at The Cloister Bar in Edinburgh early on a Sunday afternoon. Clear copper-golden body, sparse head, but good lacing on the glass. Fruitlike caramel smell and flavour. Finish off with a citric bitter touch [26.10.2008].

Aug 25, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is vanilla, nectar, mild oak and caramel. Flavour is dry wood, caramel and nectar. Pleasant and actually quite refreshing.

Aug 18, 2008 Cask at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour, minimal head. Lovely strong aroma of butterscotch and caramel. The flavour has notes of butterscotch and malts, but is still fairly dry, with a reasonably hoppy finish.
