from the Bülacher Bier Festival - hazy dark brown beer with a long lasting beige foam left; nice lacework; aroma of bread, licorice and quinces; quite tasty; clean palate, good malt backbone; bitter and earthy, fizzy finish of quinces, bread and marzipan

Dark brown with large white head. Aroma is black bread, malt juice, a hint of mustynesss. Taste is sweet/sour alcoholic malt juice, some bitter black bread. Quite thin. Finish is a bit better than the taste. Ok drinkablity.

Bottle. Cloudy brown, dark cream lace. Roast, farty/phenolic, juniper/spices. Medium light body, creamy. Pleasant roast start, spices, bready, aromatic hops in the finish with rye bread. I get the beer style, but still a bit too dirty for me.

Bottle, many thanks Jan! Brown color with white head. Aroma is malty, chocolate, nutty, earthy, phenolic. Taste is malty, chocolate, nutty, some fruity overtones from the warm fermentation, but also fruity from the hops, a bit phenolic. Medium carbonation. Not bad, it's quite well-made.
