Mar 27, 2006 After the cap is removed from the brown 22-ounce bottle, and the beer properly poured into a nice room temperature glass it appears a luminous gold, the head is portly and the texture creamy, bright white is the color, as the head fades into nothingness, the lace forms a tight girdle to conceal the glass. I smell a wee bit of hops at the front, the middle is sweet with malt & honey, the end is crisp and clean to the senses, start is quite sweet, the grain presence adequate and the top light to moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish is benignly acidic, the hops diligent in their spiciness, dry aftertaste, a quite nice brew tis true.

Jul 4, 2006 Bomber. Gold with a decent sized white head. Aroma is boldly pronounced clover honey. Taste is dusty with spicy hops and a big boozy kick. Smooth until the peppery finish kicks in. Saison-ish in the pepper taste and mouthfeel. Somewhat sweet with the corn flavor which deters from what could be a decent American rendition of the style.

Mar 29, 2006 Great aroma, slightly tart and malty. Almost smells like a pilsener, with a noble hop aroma, slightly metallic. Just a touch of sweetness, like a helles. Burpingly good in its unremarkable uniqueness. I think I may have another. I would suggest to the brewer to use a characterful Belgian strain and this could be stellar.

Feb 2, 2006 Updated: Feb 3, 2006This beer was rolled out at the Arizona Strong Beer Festival so I was able to try it before it came out on the market. It had a gold body with a white head. There was a grassy and hops aroma. Had a decent citrus hop flavor. Glad I was able to be one of the first people to try this one. Another good beer from ReaperAle. Oh, forgot the Reaper girl dressed in fishnet stockings that served me the beer wasn’t bad either.

Apr 13, 2006 Thanks to egajdzis. Pours a golden orange with an average off white bubbly head. Aroma was grainy, sweet with some citrus hops. Flavor was more of a dry, citrus hop with some light bitterness.
