Commercial Description:
Not for the faint hearted! Our stout rewards the palate with robust flavor of roasted malts (malts are roasted like coffee beans) and heavy hops. A creamy smooth surprise.

Thick pour, black opaque liquid, brown lasting head. Nose of Chocohlate malts and faint hops. Front is sweet chocolate malts and roasted malts. Finish is very roasted. More of an imperial stout than a sweet stout, very well balance, but too much bitter roasted malts to be consider a sweet stout, very good no matter how you classify it.

Thick pour. Thick dark black used oil looking stout with a nice dark tan head. Sweet dark fruit and roasted malt nose. Excellant coffee tasting stout with some milk chocolate flavors and a hop sweetness. Very tasty brew.

Lovely opaque ebony pour with a dark tan thick creamy head. Medium-bodied and smooth all the way down; leaves your palate desiring nothing. Hoppy enough, but it's missing something in the flavor area...I think it could use a little more body and maybe a little more malts. Overall, though, it was an excellent stout.

I enjoyed this brew very much. Poured a dark, almost black color and a tan head. Aroma was malty, chocolately and had hints of coffee. Flavor was smooth and delicous, chocolately, malty, and a little hoppy, but very refreshing. Really nice brew!

Pours black with a very dark brown head....darkest I’ve seen. Nice look to it. Aroma is very chocolatey and sweet. Loved the taste, heavy coffee hints and fruits in the finish. I enjoyed this beer.

This came in a 22oz bomber with an 8 ball on the front that I had right before I was going to play pool, maybe it would help my game. This pours out a pitch-black color with a thick dark tan head of about three fingers height, a picture perfect stout. The head recedes fairly quickly to a cap of bubbles leaving scattered lacing around the glass. Smells of roasted coffee and chocolate malt rise from the glass with a bit of sweetness to it as well, very pleasing smell indeed. Taste is heavy with a roasted coffee flavor jumping out with bittersweet dark chocolate playing a big role as well. The finish is dry and quite bitter with a lingering coffee flavor and slight earthy hoppiness to it. Very well balanced with the sweetness not being over done and the bitterness being very present. Medium to full body this brew has a creamy mouthfeel that makes every sip enjoyable. A surprisingly good stout that is up there on my favorite stouts list, highly recommend.

If you live in the southwest states, this is about the best bang for the buck stout available. Though cheap, there is nothing cheap about the taste. Smells and tastes of fresh smoked malt, and is nearly thick enough to cut with a knife. I like having it around to drink with meals.. mm. Poo on Guinness, buy this instead. ;)
