A very cloudy golden yellow pour, though not opaque. Crown of foamy white retains its thickness as bubbles swim toward the top at furious pace. Leading aroma of crispy almond toffee, pear, and nectarine. Foggy basement air; hints of rubber and peaches, as spicier moments of sesame ginger and lemongrass become more dominant with warmth. Crisp Czech hop flavor, dry grasses, dead flowers, and apples; a vague tint of chlorinated water doesn’t confuse things too much. Second round of banana, straw, and a blanketing lactic tartness; the fruit characteristics really come alive toward the end, exhibiting some watermelon seed, melon rind, and pear skin. Light leather and oak finish; green spices pulse lightly in a dried out, earthy final smack. Very sprightly palate of a light-medium body; quite clean. This is exactly the kind of thing that lends itself to underappreciation for its subtlety, as its depth of character only becomes apparent after a considerable length of imbibing; nonetheless, superb.

Mar 7, 2010 A lightly hazed golden ale with a thick onctuous white head. A lightly herbal hops aroma with light catnip, wild grass, a bit of soap. In mouth, a good crisp malt with nice herbal hops, light wildness, smooth, light and pleasing. Bieropholie import.

Feb 28, 2010 Hazy orange pour, small creamy head, thick lacing.
Aroma is very fruity with lot´s of orange (peel). Also quite hoppy with some yeast. Flavour is a smooth bitterness evolving to some sweet fruits back to a long lasting bitterness. Very nice, especially with the low ABV.

Feb 28, 2010 Draft… Hazy straw-colored ale with very little head. Phenolic, hoppy aroma. Light-bodied and astringent with tingly carbonation. Hoppy, spicy, lightly acidic flavor. Fairly bitter and a touch pungent with a pinch of clove. Crisp, dry finish.

Feb 27, 2010 Clear goldblond coloured beer with large white head and lots of carbonation. A hoppy aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is spicy hoppy ending bitter and dry. Nice one.

Feb 14, 2010 Tap, yellow colour with very nice white head. Smell: very hoppy. Taste: hoppy, yeasty, nice spices. Not a spectacular palate but when you hear the beer contains 4.5% alcohol you’re more impressed. Very nice and refreshing ale!

Feb 6, 2010 Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden color with some yeast floaties and a thick foamy white head with excellent lacing. Intense bitter hop aroma, grassy and a bit citrus and coriander. Intense bitter flavor with spices. Nice hoppy ale and very drinkable.
