Commercial Description:
Three thousand feet above sea level in the misty mountains of Jamaica, some of the worlds finest Arabica beans are hand picked on their way to becoming Blue Mountain Coffee. Halfway around the world, plump spring barley grows to maturity in the loamy soil of North America while aromatic hops are cutivated to exacting standards. Here in our kettles, these three special ingredients are blended to create a heady mixture of sweet sugar, dark roast, and complex flavor. Please enjoy this brew in moderation.

Bottle brought back from a friend that went to NY..Pours black with a light brown head and some carbonation bubbles...Smells like earth and some coffee beans..Taste of fresh coffee and some dark chocolate but without the bitterness. Nice sweetness to it as well.. Smooth medium body with good carbonation..12% my ass!! Great beer!!

One of my favorite styles is a good stout. Appearance is just normal. This is up there aroma is sweet to the nose with hints of chocolate. The best part of this beauty is the full body palate which it just lays on a nice doughy taste. Sweet with the malts not n much on the hops. Just a hint of the coffee taste which I feel would be more of s distraction then help. Good marks for a well crafted brew.

Bomber from Rich O’s. This is very dark black stuff with thick lacing and a firm head. The aroma is of milky coffee, though not as intense as I thought. Given Southern Tier’s other overwhelmingly one-sided imperial stout offerings (see Chocklat or Oat) I was expecting, and hoping, this would be a coffee monster. Still, the coffee presence is strong and rich with some bitter hops also noted amidst the mocha-like malts. The mouthfeel is hearty and supports the rich coffee and milk chocolate flavor well. The finish is ashy with a lingering bitterness. This is a rather enjoyable brew.

Bomber brought back from Andersons in Toledo by KT. Black pour with a smallish tan head. Big boozy malt and coffee aroma. Taste is a sweet mix of bread, dark malts and coffee. Chalky medium texture. Alcohol is well covered. Slick coffee, chocolate and milky. Great stuff.

Dark beer with fine brown head. Malty coffee aroma, with a bit of diacetyl. Thick moutfeel, starting with a malty which jumps to a coffe taste with a bitter end.Which in tis case is seriously wonderfull.

Appearance: Pours black with a small tan head, no lacing
Aroma: Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts
Taste: Thick & silky mouthfeel of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Finishes hop bitterness and alcohols
Not bad, it grows on you.
