Bottle shared with emacgee and aubreya. Relatively pale orange/golden pour. Not a significant head. Big hop hit on the nose, floral and Cascade-y. Citrus and resin, but not overly skunky. A big of spicy orange zest. Dangerously drinkable for 11%. Thanks to Tweety for the bottle

Has a great hoppy aroma, with a bitterness that doesn’t bite too hard, but sits well on the tongue. Looks great, like a good IPA should. Dark brown color with a faint off white foam head. Earthy and very enjoyable.

Bottle from Cavie. Orange pour with a thick white head. Aroma is earthy as all hell. Hops and some bitter cocoa, but mostly earthy. The taste is similar, a little sweet with a caramel thing going as well. Slight hops in the aftertaste. Pretty earthy for not being earthly.

Bottle courtesy of Cletus. Clear orange color with a white foamy head. Hop aroma is present. Earth tones with a hint of chocolate. Bakers chocolate though. Ooo sweet flavor. Sweet hops with candy lifesaver. Soil flavor comes out in the finish. Hopped finish. Remains wet. Pretty tasty.

Tasted from a 650mL bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with a one finger white head that quickly dissipates leaving some lacing. There isn’t a whole lot going on with the nose. Some light malt with a light lemon and grapefruit citrus. On the palate, this beer is much more exciting. On the front of the palate, it tastes dangerously hoppy, but that quickly fades to show a very balanced IPA. There are some biscuit flavors, with just a hint of sweetness. The back of the palate is dominated by citrus rind notes. The carbonation is average, with an oily and coating palate and a long lasting bitter finish. This beer is very good. With how balanced this beer is, I would have never guessed that the alcohol would be so high. I would love to drink this beer again.

Bomber from Whole Foods (Tampa, FL). Pours a generally clear amber to copper color with one finger white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with pleasant notes of floral hops, citrus, grapefruit, light pine, caramel, honey. Flavor is wonderful -- sweet and floral, malty, nicely balancing the fruity hops and the caramel maltiness. Medium body with a pleasing hop finish. Nice ale.

Look is amber with a heavy brown presence a tiny bubble ring floats on the edge of the glass. Massive caramel malt in the nose with an explosive amount of hops, the smell is so very sweet I have never come across a sweetness like thins in an IIPA before. Flavour also has a lot of sugary sweetness in it, a nice caramel malt backbone with tons of grapefruit hops. There seems to be the this unfortunate underlying flavor of bleach but not bleach that I can’t seem to shake. Don’t really notice the 11% at all they have hidden it very well. This beer didn’t do anything special for me it is kind of a letdown from the legends I’ve heard, in my opinion its average at best.

Lost my tasting notes. Very flavorful brew with lots of pine, resin and caramel. Very enjoyable, and the high alcohol was covered nicely.
