| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2009 The aroma is dead on for the style but comes off rather weak. It’s got some mild Diacetyl buttery stuff as well as grassy/citrus hops but mostly malt. The appearance is deep gold with an amber hue. The head is about average. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average for the style but has a touch of soap in the finish. Overall it’s pretty good. BroSpud (686), , Massachusetts, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 11, 2008 Pours clear copper with thin off white head. The mild aroma has modest vague hoppiness and one dimensional malt. The taste seems malt forward with light roasted malts to moderately roasted and then with a touch of crystal malts. The hops are there but just there and on the vague side.
