Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
an enjoyable pint whose flavour far outweighs its alcohol strength and a great beer to drink at lunchtimes with a sandwich or pasty. IPA is a rich golden colour and is packed full of delicate hop flavours, that blossom on the palate.

Sampled on my Cornish adventure from 26 - 28 January 2007 whilst visiting my friend and ratebeer member Ruprecht - This is a fruity and hoppy little number. I agree that this punches well above its weight in terms of alcohol content. In my humble opinion, a nice ale for all the family - male, female, young and old.

Cask@The White Lion, London. Ambery golden colour with small head. Aroma is floral hops, wood, some mild notes of earth and nuts as well. Flavour is quite much the same ending in a bready malty and earthy way.

Cask at the Falcon, Clapham Junction, Summer Beer Festival, 26th August 09. Standard best bitter looks with a creamy head. Good flavour, quite malty. This is an IPA in the 1990s English mould for sure.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornish Beer Festival, The Star, Bath 16/07/09. Clear ronage with a slight, off-white head that left plenty of lacing. A very easy drinking session bitter, with a touch of caramel, red fruit and some earthy hops. The finish to this enjoyable beer was moderately bitter.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel combined with a light note of dusty English hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops and citrus - and with a slight underlying acidity.

NOt a fanatic of IPA’s either, but ti was drinkable, more than that, was good. The colour was nice, but flavour like a strong tea, not too much annoying.
