Flavour is a bit benign, sweet upfront with round mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, slightly herbal finish. To be honest hard to seperate this from their honey lager. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jan 10, 2010 Odd, drity amber with a small off white cap that does stick around, lots of spotty lacing. The aroma is awful. - burnt boiled out veggies, strong toasted malts, very sweet, pumpernickel bread. Flavours of toast, the wrong bitterness - a bland bitterness, weird caramel, cooked veggies, bleck! Dry mouth feel, bleck bitterness, thin. Nothing here. cstuartj (336), Washington, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle... Poured amber with a thich, slightly off-white head. Aroma of tangy, moist grains. This beer was bordering a drain pour. Metallic and way off balanced, hops were muddy and gross. Stay away from this one. ditmier (1175), Boise, Idaho, USA

Nose is not hoppy, but slightly earthy with light husk and malt. The flavor is thin and almost wheaty with a light spicy earthy note in the finish that might have been hops at one point. Finishes thin.
