UPDATED: MAR 19, 2019 Bottle at Cafe Loki. It pours clear deep reddish amber - brown with decent white head. The aroma is wood, earthy, toasted brown bread, light fruit cake sweetness and leather. The taste is dry, woody, touch of bitterness, earth, leather, touch of caramel and varnish with a drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. A fairly run of the mill amber - brown ale kinda thing. Fair.
courtesy of Fabien Maître - quite clear amber-brown beer with a moderate head retention; toasted aroma of biscuits, caramel and coffee, fairly aromatic; creamy palate; earthy and bitter, medium-bodied, quite dry, toasted malty biscuity and coffeish finish - pretty nice
