Nov 26, 2009 Orange, slightly cloudy beer with quite weak white head. Aroma is very pleasant, slightly sweet, strongly fruitfull, piney and maybe hint of honey. Flavour is medium/high bitter, pine forest, some fruits and fructose. Almost full-bodied and nice to drink. Pleasant, fruitfull, balanced, nice bitterness makes for this great beer; maybe more freshness and then I could give a couple of points more but still great beer even now.

Nov 26, 2009 12 oz bottle. Opaque amber color, frothy off-white head. Smooth bitter flavor, resiny hops, hint of alcohol. Dry finish. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. Curiously this reminds me of Fuller’s ESB, but isn’t nearly as attractive.

Appearance: Pours a medium gold that is hazy with nice white head and no lace.
Aroma: Citrus with some banana and pine.
Taste: Lots of citrus and pine flavors. Some sweetness coming from the malt.
This is a real nice beer. Pretty hoppy for a bitter, which is good for me.....

Hoppy aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity pineapple flavour with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

Nov 21, 2009 Orange golden colour. Citrus hop aroma, with slight dry caramel maltyness. Very bitter flavour, with smooth bitter finish. Brutal is a good word, closer to a pale ale than a bitter.

Nov 21, 2009 33,5 cl bottle from Alko. Pours reddish color with a very thin head. Aroma is mostly of hops. Flavor is very hoppy with fruity tones. Ends very dry and spicey. Enjoyable.

Nov 21, 2009 Pours vibrant amber with a towering head.
Nose shows lots of sweet fruity hops, with citrus blossom, apples, confectionery and piney resin, along with loads of caramel malt and hints of toffee.
Flavours are lovely, with a mix of crystal malt and intense fruity hops first, before a full-on hoppy bitterness kicks in. Well balanced, though still very bitter for the style.
Carbonation is a bit high, further drying out the finish.
If you were expecting a ESB, think again. This would be better classified as an American IPA, considering the American hops, lashings of crystal malt and the powerful bitterness. Ignoring style though, this was great.
