Cask@Kingston Beer Festival. Pretty decent stuff. Hoppy, floral, citrusy nose, summery and dry, some butterscotch, quite decent.

Pale gold/straw colour, with a big where head. Massive, flowery, US-style hop aroma. Noticeably resinous. Citric and slightly sharp, with a clean, bitter finish. rather nice. 500ml bottle (bottle conditioned) from Richs Farmhouse Cider shop.

Bottle Conditioned, aged 30 months. Orange brown efervesent beer with huge head. I've never been keen on his fresh so I decided to age this bottle and what a difference! It becomes a sharp, dry, grassy hop delightful Swan. Full mature dryness with everlasting bitterness, its a different beer.

Bottle. It pours a bit unclear, golden color, and a creamy, off-white head with good retention and it leaves nice lacings. Sediments in the bottle leaves you with a lot of floaties. The aroma is disappointingly weak, first I thought my beer was too cold, but letting it get warmer doesn’t help much. It has a fruity and slightly piney hoppiness, but that’s almost it. A very weak grainy or malty note is also there. The flavor is very much like the aroma, weak and hoppy that is. It finishes with a nice bitterness, but before that, there’s not much but fruity and piney hops, giving some bitterness. A medium body makes it rather quaffable, but it certainly isn’t a beer to enjoy if you want a real treat. (070829)

Cloudy orange colour with a white head. Malty, light caramel sweet aroma with hoppy notes. Malty, buttery sweet flavor with a light dry and hoppy finish.

Very pale golden beer. Aroma is lightly sulfurous. Herbal and lightly grassy. Quite noble smelling but lacks the zesty character that a beer like this could show off. Light Goldings-esqe spiciness with a kiss of lemony citrus behind the earthy pale malts.
