caribou43 (3059) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 25, 2018I have found this beer at the beer of the world in Basel, just before to go to Amsterdam, between two trains, best before 07/18.
They say that it is a porter but in my opinion, it is not really a porter that you could think on the English manner. This beer is not so far than a cristalklar of Appenzeller bier. Firstly, the color is brown/orange and troubled, regular carbonation, thin and white foam, the carbonation is regular. It is a good dark beer, the taste is a bit sour but it is malty, dry, you have at the final, a touch of nuts that it is pleasant, some roasted malt, hop. The taste is overall well balanced, little sourness at the palate after the sips, to repeat without doubt.
