Bottle. Thanks to Barry. Poussin pale, clear cola brown, no head, very gentle carb. Nose is... Unusual. Straight up lavender, tootsie roll, caramilk bar. No hops, no malt, no booze, just fruit and candy. Palate is piercingly floral, like the lavender candies my granother tried so desperately to get me to like. Some candy, watery palate. This could have been genius, but instead it sucks.

Bottle from Global Wines, Birmingham. Beautiful, rich honey stench - so sweet. Deep, mahogany flavour, replete with rosehip, honey and caramel. Predominantly sweet, but with a little dryness on the finish. Liked this. Liked.

Bottle, 500ml. Pours an almost pitch black liquid with a formidable head. Smells of pure honey, no question there. Tastes of.. you guessed, honey, as well as caramel and coffee. Great beer.

Bottle 500ml. Remarkably intense aroma of flowers and honey. Flavour has a sweet start, with a long-lasting bitter finish. Palate is oily, and medium-bodied. Brown colour, with a fizzy head.

Bottle, Global Wines, Birmingham. This seems a little harshly treated on here. Dark brown pour with minimal head. Fragrant aroma with honey predominating and some herbs, which is pretty much how it tasted with some roasted malt and coffee notes. Ever so slightly watery palate. Obviously if you like honey as I do, then this has definite appeal.

Beautiful dark transparent beer with a dark, caramel-like colour, and a fizzy, bubly head. Smell is all honey, but not really the nicest honey smell - it’s almost a bit soapy. Taste is not much different, although with some herbiness. Rather astringent taste; bitter sour with a typical heavy honey sweetness. Respect to the brewer who would think of brewing something like this. Oh, and the bottle is absolutely the nicest beer bottle I ever had - I even took it home with me :-)

bottle shared by faroeviking. clear brown, small offwhite head. aroma is strong honey. not much more than that. flavor is medicine cabinet, roasted grains, alca seltzer (but not much honey). truly weird thing that i didn’t like very much.

Botella. Clear deep dark brown colour, medium head, fairly well alsting. Sweet honey roastish malty strangely herby aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with roasty malt and bad honey with herbs and something artificial like.

50cl bottle poured into a mug. Dark amber with minimal tan head. Aroma is strong honey and toasted malt. Flavor is the same with a hint of hops. Finish is bittersweet. A very interesting beer. Not something I’d want to drink all the time but it is good for what it is.
