| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2007 Upon the pour from the 500ml bottle, it appears a slightly hazy amber with a two-fingered creamy white head that fades leaving a complete blanket of lace upon the glass. Nose has a delicious hop floral aroma, followed quickly by the sweet malt, crisp and clean, mouthwatering. Start has a delectable malt presence, hop bitter at the back, somewhat sweet with the top moderate in feel. Finish has a persistent acidity, the hops powerful and spicy, aftertaste is bone dry and the hops stick to the palate, quite a refreshing beer.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 19, 2010 Pours amber, off white head. Pine and citrus on the nose, classic west coast aroma.
Flavour has a upfront grapefruity bitterness, full malty caramel body. A spicy yeast character lingers on the finish with a big bitterness. The bitterness accumulates, becoming aggressive.
Wow, a great IPA - not all about the hops, the malt features prominently and lends some balance. If only it wasn’t so damned expensive. Braudog (3867), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2010 Bottle. Poured a deep, muddy brown, like a river bottom in New Jersey. The head is substantial and defensive. The aroma reminds me of a old-growth forest after weeks of rain, all mossy and full of fresh growth. It drinks with a definite wild side, bitter like green wood, with a chewy mash-up of graininess. Somehow with all this going on, it still seems to come across on the thin side, diminishing itself. Poured an amber colour with a medium white head. Fragrant hoppy aroma with some caramel malt.. Flavour was suitably hop laden and pretty darn tasty with some nice fruity notes. Top notch balance thanks to the sweet malt. Lingering dry bitter finish. Pretty straightforward, but very good with it. Madsnp (715), Odense C, Denmark

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2010 Bottle. Pours a orange/light brown beer with a good white head. Impressive strong aroma with hints of grapefruit, spices and other fruits. Beer has a beautiful body. Taste starts malty/fruity and ends bitter thanks to the hops. Dry bitter aftertaste that stays their for a while. Good beer! Want to try some more Mikkeller. Dorstig (23), Oegstgeest, Netherlands

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2010 Product of Denmark. Incredible Hop Presence. Nice Pour, Great Color. I love Mikkeller beers, but without a "sell by" or "bottled" date, I always feel I am paying top dollar for a product that has been sitting on the shelf quite a while. To our Danish friends: Can you please add a "Bottled On" date? Otherwise, always an enjoyable and superior brew. manuchampions (226), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
