Commercial Description:
Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

12-28-07 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to tytoanderso.
A very thin soapy white head floats on a transparent clean reddish amber color. Smell is hoppy but surprisingly very sweet as well. Strong hop flavor and bitterness. A hint drying, but has a very nice crisp finish. A bit thinner than I had hoped but very drinkable and enjoyable overall! Everything is very nice about this beer - it just would be that much better if all of the elements could be kicked up a notch.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Drunk @CC. Poured an amber colour with a medium white head. Fragrant hoppy aroma with some caramel malt.. Flavour was suitably hop laden and pretty darn tasty with some nice fruity notes. Top notch balance thanks to the sweet malt. Lingering dry bitter finish. Pretty straightforward, but very good with it.

Bottle. Pours a orange/light brown beer with a good white head. Impressive strong aroma with hints of grapefruit, spices and other fruits. Beer has a beautiful body. Taste starts malty/fruity and ends bitter thanks to the hops. Dry bitter aftertaste that stays their for a while. Good beer! Want to try some more Mikkeller.

Pours a beautiful copper orange with a small head. Very hoppy on the nose with citrus, grapefruit and grassy aroma’s. Taste is medium bitter with creamy caramel, toffee like notes on the background. Man , this is tasty stuff. Mildly carbonated with a dry bitter finish. Another great brew from Mikkeller

Product of Denmark. Incredible Hop Presence. Nice Pour, Great Color. I love Mikkeller beers, but without a "sell by" or "bottled" date, I always feel I am paying top dollar for a product that has been sitting on the shelf quite a while. To our Danish friends: Can you please add a "Bottled On" date? Otherwise, always an enjoyable and superior brew.

Private order from R&R Toronto. Poured a hazy pale copper with a white head. Clean grapefruit and grass hop aroma. Flavor is bitter lemon and grass with some grapefruit, leading to a dry finish. Body feels a tad light. Overall pretty nice.

Strongly hopped nose with citrus and a powerful astringency. Pours copper and a bit flat. The sweet malt and bitter hops marry well in this one with a very long, dry finish. The alcohol is certainly present, but the balance is good and the puckering hoppiness as you drink it leaves you wanting more.

330mL bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with a minimal and shortlived head. Distinct aroma of passionfruit in the hops with fainter elements of pine and citrus, accompanied by honey and a little toast. Flavours of tropical fruit and honey with a slight toastiness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation with a slight astringency on the finish.
