COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

330 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Pannuhuone. Rated @ 11.12.2009.
Amber colour which leaves a good lacing on the glass. Lots of hops, fruits, citrus on the nose with a stinging tone. The flavor is really crispy, dry with strong hoppiness. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Fruity and bitter finish. Very balanced IPA.

330ml bottle from Utobeer. Pours amber, off-white head with soft carbonation. Nose; citrus, pine, floral. Taste; intense bitterness, lemon, waxy, slight dark chocolate, liquorice, refreshing, well-hidden alcohol with long hoppy finish. Very drinkable IPA.

(bottle) pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of citrus fruits and pine, with a hint of bubble gum and sweet spices, bread and caramel. flavour is the same, very bready and spicy again, with some herbal and woody touches and a bitter orange peel finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

Poured into a pint glass, hazy-amber and orange. Notes of caramel, malt, grapefruit and apricot. This is an ok brew, but unfortunately something is to be desired. I enjoyed drinking it, but after spending $10 on the bottle, I was expecting something more. Sorry, i have nothing left to add.

This one really hit it out of the park. The pour had a beautiful color of gold and brown with a thick off white head. It gave off a lot of citrus aromas mixed with hops and spice. The carbonation was great, as was the head retention. The taste was bitter with a bite, but made for a very easy drinkable IPA.

33 cl bottle. Pours amber with a big white head. Aroma of pine, with notes of citrus and spice. The taste is of sweet malts, then pine and flora with a bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation. A quite good balanced IPA.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, smaller lacy off-white head; solid piney hoppy nose with a good malty base; solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering, mostly dry, piney hoppy (traces of pineapples, too) and also slight malty finish. Pretty good.......
