Aksarben Canadian Ale

Had it on tap at the brewpub. Pours honey colored with an off white head. Aroma has a some hops with a strength and similarity to Boulevard Pale Ale. Flavor had some citrus hops, nothing special or bad, just very average. Had a medium body to round out this very average beer.

Bottle; Poured with Aksarben’s signature gigantic artificial head over a relatively dark golden beer. There’s virtually no discernable aroma. The flavor is a sharp cookie-based malt with a mellow bitter finish. Actually one of the easier drinking beers made here, but just another bad BYOP sample.
