Sweet and estery with notes of vanilla. Most of the flavour of the hefeweizen remains, but it just feels duller. ogivlado (3177), Zagreb, Croatia

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2004 Filtered clear straw color with large carbonated head and lots of lacing. The aroma is lighly citrusy with some malt tones and a little wheat. The flavor is balanced and clean, definate balance. Finished slightly watery and bland but not too bad at all. I don't know if I'd drink this again. Cornfield (5035), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2004 The commercial description reads, "For those who desire a weissbier without yeast." Who is that? This has much the same aroma and taste as Franziskaner’s hefe-weizen, but lacks that extra dimension that the bottle conditioning adds. Less fruitiness, less depth and complexity of taste, less enjoyment. This is still a decent drink, but it pales in comparison to the real deal. I’ve found the same to be true with all of the Kristalweizens. Rciesla (4312), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
