Very light golen color with a foamy head. Light wheat on the nose and palate. Not oustanding, but nice and crisp and refreshing.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear golden, lively airy head. Fruity banana aroma. Sweet and estery with notes of vanilla. Most of the flavour of the hefeweizen remains, but it just feels duller.

Filtered clear straw color with large carbonated head and lots of lacing. The aroma is lighly citrusy with some malt tones and a little wheat. The flavor is balanced and clean, definate balance. Finished slightly watery and bland but not too bad at all. I don't know if I'd drink this again.

The commercial description reads, "For those who desire a weissbier without yeast." Who is that? This has much the same aroma and taste as Franziskaner’s hefe-weizen, but lacks that extra dimension that the bottle conditioning adds. Less fruitiness, less depth and complexity of taste, less enjoyment. This is still a decent drink, but it pales in comparison to the real deal. I’ve found the same to be true with all of the Kristalweizens.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow straw body with a 3 finger white head. Some hoppy citrus lemon, banana, and eathy. Wheaty and fruity with a dry finish.
