Location: Picked up a 22 oz. bottle at Gilly’s, drank it Jan ’09

Overall Impression: Bought this one dressed in its the Shark Tooth Ale Label alias...Really solid for a Blonde, which I’m just not huge fan of in general, but this one was had some decent fruity and floral flavors, and a nice head.

The aroma is malty and wheaty with yeast, herbs, and grassy hops (basically like herb bread). The appearance is cloudy gold with a medium foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a sharp bitter finish. The palate is thin but OK. Overall a nice session beer also good with many foods.

Golden pour with a moderate white head. A little hoppy, with bread, and some malt aromas. Decently crisp, a little thin, and seems like a pilsner. Not bad, but not very impressive.

Bomber of Jazz Guy Ale from Barley and Hops in Glenwood, Illinois - This poured a copper/amber body with a decent beige head and supplied plenty of lacing. The aroma is toasty grain and caramel with a bit of lemon. Same with the flavor but with the additon of an earthy, citrusy bitterness. Dry finish. Drinkable, but uninspired.

In short: A boring low intensity golden ale with sweet dried fruits flavour. Extra-bland.
How: Bottle 22oz (called Shark Tooth). Consumed fresh a few months back.
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a short-lived white head
In long: Nose of dried candied fruits, mainly oranges. Taste is more dried candied fruits, biscuits, a little caramel. Bottle talks about a hoppy bite but I’d say this is a hoppy caress with only a faint floral hops touch with no bitterness to speak of. Finish leaves a residual sugar sweetness flavour. This is easy to drink because it is very light on taste but what it tastes is very very boring. This is beyond bland. And what is beyond bland exactly? I don’t know. Clouds?

Aroma of sour milk with maybe a hint of something chocolate. Golden pour with white fizzy head. No lacing. Flavor is sort of odd; Some hop, some candy, some malt. Not a whole lot to be excited about.

From my back log. Golden pour with thin off white head. A mild fruit and malt aroma with a malter bitter finish. Ehh.

Golden, with rising bubbles and no head. Typical golden aroma of citrus, peppery hops and some malt. Palate is a bit overcarbonated, but smooth. Bitter floral/grassy with a dry finish. Decent brew.

From a bottle poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a lingering finish.
