Draught in Pikkulintu, Helsinki- Dark golden/amber in colour with an appealing hoppy aroma with a hint of peach and spice. Bitter, hoppy, moreish taste with a bit of fruit and spice as well as peach. I could drink a lot of this and indeed have done in the past! Still impresses me.

Aroma is almost a bit wheat and fresh with hops. Taste is rather big, long lasting bitterness with refreshing wheat notes.

Pours a amber color. Off white head that quickly goes to a heavy lace. Aroma of hop malt floral spruce. Lower carbonation. Hop malt flavor, very smooth. The finish is bitter, but not overly bitter. Stops just before crossing the line from bitter to sour for my taste buds. A very nice brew.

From Secret Santa and served in no-nik pint glass: Deep golden hue with a big fluffy head which left very good lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, pale and light toasted malts, hint of honey and corn. The taste has a moderate noble (Saaz?) and high alpha (Chinook?) bitterness along with dusty yeast and soft malts. Continued earthy and slightly spicy hops towards the adjunct finish. The mouth feel is lively and mostly crisp minus a tad bit of chalkiness. Overall, a solid enough bitter ale but do not looking for a classic English styled here, more like bitter crossed with pils hybrid.

Clear golden in colour with a thin white head, light lacing. Aroma is floral, lightly bitter, some light caramel sweetness, wheaty. The flavour is rather floral, moderately bitter, wheaty and grassy, some cereal. Bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes bitter, long and grassy.

A nice bitter, excellent balance and drinkability.

Bottle at Mondial 2009 in Montreal, Quebec.

Sampled on June 4, 2009.

Bottle. Clear amber color with a large creamy white head. Lots of hops, grain, citrus and some caramel. Flavor was bitter and hoppy, malt, bread and grape. Body was medium, refreshing and enjoyable.

Enjoyed in the sun at Molnbyggen with Mattias. Nice amber color with a thick frothy tan head. Fresh hoppy aroma with a lot of citrus from the great american Chinook and Cascade hops and a final touch of caramel. Nice bitter hoppy flavor with a sweet touch of herbs and caramel. Finishing off with a bitter bite of grapefruit.
