22oz bottle. Murky red and orange colored body with a white head. Hoppy IPA nose of blood oranges and grapefruit hop scents, the pomegranate is certainly present as well. Slick, medium thickness, hoppy and fruity, not bitter really, just juicy. Very nice, I found myself really enjoying this beer, much more than other Hebrew offerings.

Pours a cloudy orange hue with a frothy slight off-white head. Aromas of caramel, pine, citrus, and some spice. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with flavors of caramel, a light roasted oat, a little nutty with a nice bitterness. Pomegranate is subdued with noticable alcohol.

22oz bottle: Deep amber color with small light tan head, with fair amount of caramel, hint of dates, figs, faint herbal hops, note of honey. Flavor has chewy malts, lot of creamy caramel, note of cherry, dates, bit of fruityness that must be pomegranate, though I’m not very familier with that fruit. Finish is balanced.

Bottle: The aroma is a tad light for an American Strong. It has orange, caramel, soap, and a hint of spicey hops. It pours a transparent orangish-red with a small white head. The flavor starts with lots of caramel. There is some faint fruitiness in the background. The finish contains some light herbal and spicey hops.

22oz. bottle. Strongly fruity aroma, does indeed reflect the addition of pomegranate, combined with a blend of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, a touch of leafy mint and some floral sweetness. Light-medium copper color with a lasting, fine, creamy head and a fair bit of lacing. Flavors are predominantly hoppy, more juicy citrus, some spice, pine and earth noted, along with a blend of peppery alcohol, prominent hop bitterness, faint grape and sugary, amber malt sweetness. Features a certain sharp tang in places, most notably the finish. Lively and clean on the palate, body is full. Mostly enjoyable, perhaps a tad brash.

Coppery color. Not much head. Smells more like a BW than and American Strong. Malty, fruity and hoppy with that strong sweet smell I associate with BW. Tastes interesting.....the pomegranate juice adds a nice flavor.

While I’ve had better A. Barleywines, this wasn’t too bad. In fact the pommegranites gave it an intersting juicy, fruity angle. An aroma mostly of malts and floral hops but there is a fruity character that’s unmistakeable. Appearance is copper in color with a huge off-white foamy head. Mouthfeel was intersting. Thick enough to notice but not cloying in anyway, but still maintaining a lightness. Flavor was fruity, alcohol, malty with a nice hop kick. Not really something that I’d return to multiple times, but for a change of pace barleywine this is fairly interesting.

(bottle - 22 oz) Murky copper color with a creamy tan head. Aroma is very mild and sweet with a little malts and the lightest touch of pomegranate. Very hard to smell though. Flavor is tangy and fruity at the beginning with a warming middle and a slight aftertaste of pomegranate juice. Finishes quick with a little bitterness. Not too bad.
