500ml bottle (BeerAngel.de)
Hazy pale orange, fizzy head. Slightly spritzy sour aroma, just past its BB date. Refreshing carbonation. A touch watery. Yeastiness is a bit earthy. Initial blast of fruity esters quite potent, but fades quickly. Hoppy finish is nice, but not enough to save this. I know I’ve had better ones of this. Should rerate.

It doesn’t look as most weizens, more orange then yellow. The aroma is typical, but has more citric notes than normal. Very solid taste, nothing too much in my opinion. I really liked it.

Draught in Kloster Andechs. Pours cloudy yellow-orange, with durable white head. Sweet citrus and spice on the nose, with similar on the palate, with notes of malt and yeast too. Very well balanced mouthfeel; archetypal Hefeweizen, a very decent beer.

500 ml bottle. From Germany. BBE 10.03.09. Pale golden orange colour with very nice thick smooth white head. Fruity lemon aroma with wheat and toffee. Lemon, banana, some spices and wheat in flavour. Good Hefeweizen.

500 ml bottle straight from Munich courtesy of my mother-in-law in weizen glass. Pale cloudy orange with lasting white head and lace. Strong banana bubble gum clove aroma. Sweet vanilla bubble gum orange fruitiness with spicy finish very light bitterness Medium-light body nice creamy texture, a little sticky. My first hefe of the spring, excellent.

The best weissbeer i have tasted. Really nice and rice. The yeast, maltbody and hops do it really well. Perfect Weissbier

On tap at Wildeman. Hazy yellow with big head. Bananas in the nose. Citrus and banana taste, as well as in the finish. Fruity, easy with bitter finish.
